About the Gathering

It's artEquity's 10th anniversary and we want to be in community with you! Join us for the 2025 Alumni Gathering in Los Angeles where it all started back in 2015. And it's right on time!

​

It's been a tumultuous start to the year. Deliberate attempts are being made to overwhelm us and instill fear in our communities. Our response? Bring it. We're all in.

​

In the face of fear, we will move with intention. In the face of pushback, we will double down. In the face of crises and chaos, we will choose love and joy. And we will do that with you, our community. Let's plan to gather in October and throw down because we won't be silenced or erased!

​

So all you visionary change-makers, artist-activists, and community leaders, join us in Los Angeles to recharge your spirit, renew your sense of grounded defiance, and dream into a future of justice! 

​

This year, the Alumni Gathering will consist of a four-day series of in-person convenings that will:

• provide an opportunity for us to (re)connect and recharge; 

• center healing as our vibe; 

• connect with local culture and artists/activists; and 

• allow us to dream into a future of possibility.

 

Additionally, we invite all alums who identify as People of Color, BIPOC, AAPI, MENASA, ALAANA, SWANA, Black/African American, Indigenous/Native, Latinx/Latine, or People of the Global Majority one day early for an afternoon of rest, relaxation, and affinity on October 21, 2025.

Join us as we honor the last 10 years of artEquity and forge the path for the next 10 years!

 

We plan to share more information about accessibility, registration, and our community partnerships in the coming months. Limited travel subsidies will be available.
