For seven years, artEquity has been building a base of individuals working toward culture change in their organizations and communities. It has been four years since the last time artEquity convened a group of these changemakers in person, and since then the COVID-19 pandemic has reminded us of the power and joy of human interaction. Those who attended our 2018 National Facilitator Training in New Orleans enjoyed the city so much, we had to come back and invite the rest of our network. It’s time to reunite, to exchange knowledge and experience with one another, and to connect across regions and organizations. To date, we have been engaging discrete cohorts of artists + activists. Now, we want to bring everyone together, strategically overlapping these cohorts for a 3-day series of rolling in-person moments in service of strengthening this base of changemakers in the arts and culture sector (and beyond)!
We hope you will join fellow alumni from artEquity’s BIPOC Leadership Circle, National Facilitator Training, and National Board Training and many other community members for a weekend of collaboration, wellness, and visioning the future of justice!
